As you are probably aware, the regulations covering new and replacement oil tanks are now quite strict, and enforced under building regulations. OFTEC qualified and experienced personnel undertake any surveys. Installations also have at least one OFTEC qualified engineer on site. All work is insured via the recommended OFTEC policy, details upon request. Work is warranted for 12 months.

Another important issue is the bunding of tanks in relation to commercial and some domestic clients. The regulations state that any tanks considered ‘at risk’ should have been bunded by September 2003, and ALL others by September 2005.
